Sixth De Jong Lecture in Social Demography to be held Oct. 24

The sixth annual De Jong Lecture in Social Demography will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 24, on the University Park campus. “Innovation in the Measurement of Place: Systematic Social Observation in a Rural Setting” will be presented by Barbara Entwisle, Kenan Distinguished Professor of Sociology and vice chancellor for research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
