Housing and construction magazine CEO to present Nov. 9 Hankin Lecture

The 2011 Hankin Distinguished Lecture Series will feature Frank Anton presenting "Where Do We Go From Here or The Dumbbell Theory of Housing" at 4 p.m. on Nov. 9, at the Nittany Lion Inn in Ballrooms D and E on Penn State's University Park campus.

The lecture is free and open to the public. An informal reception will follow the event.

Anton is the CEO of Hanley Wood, LLC, a media company in the housing and construction industry. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic growth and development of the company. Before becoming the CEO, Anton was the editor and publisher of Builder Magazine, a publication by Hanley Wood for 25 years.

The Hankin Distinguished Lecture Series was established in 2006 by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in honor of Bernard Hankin, a 1943 civil engineering alumnus who founded the Hankin Group, a firm that specializes in the development of commercial and residential properties.
