Students conducting food drive for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Penn State Beaver students are conducting a nonperishable food drive to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Beaver County. Collection boxes are located in the main lobby of the Ross Administration Building and throughout the Student Union Building. Food and any other non-perishable donations must be placed in a collection box by 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2.

For more than a decade, Beaver campus students have served as Big Brothers or Big Sisters for hundreds of area children who are BB/BS clients. Student mentors are drawn from a wide variety of academic programs and majors, including psychology, engineering, science, sociology, and communications.

For information about the event or the campus’ ongoing partnership with BB/BS, contact Robin Schreck, coordinator of student activities and residence life, ras62@psu.edu or 724-773-3947.
