Orchesis, Penn State’s oldest dance company, will be hosting their annual fall choreographer’s showcase. The show will feature dance styles such as jazz, contemporary, ballet and hip-hop. The student-choreographed showcase will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, and at noon and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, in Room 132-133 of the White Building (the White Hall Dance Theatre) on Penn State's University Park campus.
Tickets for the Thursday evening show will cost $3 for students with an ID. The Sunday shows will cost $4.99 for students. Both shows will cost $6.50 for nonstudents. In addition, anyone interested in learning more about dance and Orchesis is welcome to participate in an open class at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Room 113 of the White Building.
