Registration is open for the Hoops for Hope tournament

Hoops for Hope is a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament to benefit the HOPE Express -- a 24-hour, 135-mile relay connecting the patients at Penn State Hershey Medical Center with the dancers at THON. Proceeds from the HOPE Express benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. The tournament will be held on Jan. 20 to 21 at the University Fitness Center on the Medical Center and College of Medicine campus. Registration is $50 per team and teams will be accepted on a first come basis. Once an age group has 15 teams, registration will be closed for that group. Each team is guaranteed four games and can consist of up to five players. Register your team at thehopeexpress.org/Hoops/2012-Hoops-Registration.php.

Registration is available in the following age groups:

-- Third- to fourth-grade girls, third- to fourth-grade boys
-- Fifth- to sixth-grade girls, fifth- to sixth-grade boys
-- Seventh- to ninth-grade coed

Volunteers are needed for the tournament. If interested in volunteering, contact Bobby Eismann at bobby@thehopeexpress.org.
