Penn State Shenango will be showing the live coverage of Joe Paterno’s memorial service, "A Memorial For Joe," in the Penn State Shenango Auditorium located on Shenango Avenue in downtown Sharon, Pa. The community is invited to attend. The memorial service is being held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus. Those who are unable to attend can watch live coverage on the Big Ten Network, at BTN.com and BTN2Go.
Paterno, legendary Penn State educator, coach and humanitarian, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, after a short battle with cancer. A public viewing took place from 1 to 11 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, and from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center on the University Park campus. A private funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
