"I don't think the world is now saying anyone with a computer and a camera can be a reporter. I think that anyone who has something interesting to say about the world around them will get their message through. You no longer need a connection to a major news outlet. It's revolutionary."

-- Arianna Huffington, author and co-founder, president and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, on how the internet is changing the face of the media. She spoke about leadership and daring to take risks, pointing out that failure isn't always unproductive and can often be a stepping stone to success. Huffington spoke Thursday (Feb. 9) in Eisenhower Auditorium at Penn State's University Park campus and was the third lecturer for the 2011-12 Distinguished Speaker Series held by the Student Programming Association.
