Students help repair hurricane damage: Alternative Spring Break blog

Twenty-three students from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, are spending their spring break in Mission, Texas, helping to rebuild homes damaged nearly two years ago by Hurricane Alex.

Proving the adage that there is no rest for the weary, the students' breaks from construction work will be spent tutoring school children. Follow the students' adventures in service to others on their Alternative Spring Break blog, http://psbehrendasb.wordpress.com/2012/03/01/23-students-bound-for-mission-texas/

Alternative Spring Break is sponsored by Penn State Behrend's Center for Service in conjunction with Reality Check, the campus' undergraduate service club.
