Gather a team of family, friends, and co-workers and join the Penn State Hershey Department of Nursing for the second annual Dress for Success Power Walk and Scrub Drive on Saturday, May 12. Sponsored by Dress for Success South Central PA, this walk is an important step toward empowering disadvantaged women to achieve self-sufficiency and overall health and wellness. Registration is $20. Dress for Success South Central PA needs scrubs in new or nearly new condition for low-income women starting their health care career training or entering health care employment. A donation truck will be on-site during nurses’ week and during the walk to collect the scrubs. Donations are tax deductible, and tax receipts will be provided. Scrubs with specific hospital logos or names printed on them will not be accepted.
Before and after the walk, there will be a health and wellness fair, featuring:
