Nonprofit organizations interested in improving their grant writing skills are invited to a free workshop at Penn State Shenango in downtown Sharon, Pa., from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, in Sharon Hall room 105.
“Grants 101" will combine tips on successful proposal writing with a mock proposal review session. Those who are interested in seeking grants should come to the workshop with an identified potential funding agency and a draft proposal, along with the proposal guidelines. The first portion of the workshop will cover elements of successful proposals followed by a constructive critique of the participants’ draft proposal.
