The diabetes education program at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is sponsoring the 12th annual Diabetes Health Fair from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, fat the University Conference Center in on the Penn State Hershey campus. The health fair is free and open to the public; vendors in attendance will have information and products specifically designed for the health of diabetics, including insulin, insulin pumps, meters, diabetes camps and other services.
It is estimated that 25.8 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes. People with diabetes are at increased risk of developing heart disease, stroke, and other health conditions.
Individuals with diabetes or who have a loved one with diabetes are encouraged to attend this free health fair to learn more about products and services available for diabetics.
