Nationally renowned campaign expert to speak April 24 at Penn State

Kathleen Hall Jamieson, a nationally renowned campaign expert and Professor of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, will deliver a talk titled "Patterns of Deception in the 2008 and 2012 Presidential Campaigns: How Language Does Our Thinking For Us," at 7 p.m. on April 24 in Room 112 of the Kern Building on the University Park campus. The lecture is free and open to the public, and is being presented as part of the annual Kenneth Burke Lecture in Rhetoric. The talk is sponsored by the Penn State Center for Democratic Deliberation.
