BTN2Go, Big Ten Digital Network to stream Blue-White Game

CHICAGO -- The Big Ten Network will stream Penn State's Blue-White Game live at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 21, on BTN2Go and The Big Ten Digital Network. BTN also will have highlights and analysis from that day's Big Ten spring games at 7 p.m. ET on April 21 on B1G Tonight Spring Football Edition with Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith.

The annual Penn State spring game will air on BTN at 8 p.m. ET on April 21, as head coach Bill O'Brien directs the Nittany Lions for the first time in Beaver Stadium. Kevin Kugler, former Penn State All-America running back Ki-Jana Carter and reporter Lisa Byington will call the game for BTN.

There is no admission or parking fee for the Blue-White Game presented by AAA, which will air live on the Penn State Sports Network. The Nittany Lions are in their second week of their 15 allotted spring practices.

BTN's spring football coverage includes the Big Ten Football Report every Tuesday night and B1G Tonight Spring Football Edition Saturday nights beginning April 14. BTN will offer a live television or internet broadcast for every Big Ten spring football game or final practice.

BTN is airing more than 110 Penn State events this year, in addition to coverage from 15 conference championships.

BTN is available to more than 80 million homes through agreements with more than 300 cable, satellite and telco providers in all 50 states and Canada. BTN, though, is not carried in Pennsylvania by Adams Cable and Blue Ridge Cable. The network also is not available to Armstrong Cable customers in western Pennsylvania and the Medina and Youngstown, Ohio areas. A combined total of more than 35,000 Penn State alumni live in communities served by the three cable providers, in addition to thousands more fans and current Penn State students.

BTN2Go is a live 24/7 digital extension of the Big Ten Network that gives fans the ability to watch the network live wherever they are via computer, smartphone or tablet. The Big Ten Digital Network, which is available via subscription, combines streaming audio and video content from games/events that are not televised live on BTN. Fans only looking for access to a single school's content can subscribe to just that school on monthly and annual renewing terms. Numerous events will be held in conjunction with the Blue-White Game presented by AAA to celebrate Penn State Football. A carnival adjacent to Beaver Stadium will operate Friday-Sunday. The carnival, wing fest, food vendors and entertainment stage near the stadium will open Friday, April 20 at 6 p.m., with fireworks scheduled for 9 p.m. Also on Friday, Penn State Uplifting Athletes will again sponsor a dunk tank with proceeds benefiting the Nittany Lion football team's Lift for Life fund-raiser for the Kidney Cancer Association.

On Saturday, April 21, the carnival and entertainment stage will open at 10 a.m. The football squad members will be available for autographs at 12 p.m. in Beaver Stadium. Following the game, there will be a concert on the stage. The carnival will run until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.

Also on April 21, Nittany Lion Club Blue-White Event is set for 10:30 a.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center, featuring O'Brien and the 2012 football senior class.
