Spring workshops for Certified Public Accountants

The Penn State Greater Allegheny Continuing Education Department will offer two full-day workshops in May. Participants can attend a workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at the Crowne Plaza South, near South Hills Village. Topics include: Engagement Risk Reduction; Pennsylvania State Tax Update; Web Creation, Content and Navigation; Myths of Settling IRS Debt and others. The workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, will be held at Dave and Busters at the Waterfront in Homestead. Topics include: Estate and Trust Update; What's the GAO Doing to us Now?; Business Tax Update; Tax Planning for 2012 and others. Registration is $129 for each day, both days for $248.
