In recognition of Earth Da, Penn State Schuylkill will host an Eco Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 23. The event will take place on the campus' mall walk and will feature information about what Penn State Schuylkill, local companies and community organizations are doing to preserve the environment. Presenters include Schuylkill Transportation System, Herrings Green Grass Farm and Schuylkill Conversation District, along with information on solar energy.

There also will be a collection of the following items to benefit the Schuylkill County Animal Response Team: cellphones; laptop computers; inkjet cartridges; MP3 players; digital cameras; digital video cameras; handheld game systems; GPS devices; radar detectors; electronic book readers; and gold, silver and platinum jewelry.
