Round up the gang for 'Charlie Brown' at Abington theatre

Uproarious laughter will ring out all over Penn State Abington next weekend when the world’s most famous Blockhead and his beloved Peanuts gang take the stage in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.”

The irrepressable Charlie Brown, Linus and friends will be portrayed by Abington students in this fast-paced revival of the Broadway musical. The cast and crew have spent months preparing for four performances while managing their coursework and other responsibilities.

Tickets for this all-ages show are $5 at the door, and children under 12 are free. Shows are scheduled for:

--  8 p.m. Thursday, April 19

-- 7 p.m. Friday, April 20

-- 8 p.m. Saturday, April 21

-- 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22 – A Meet the Cast showing.

The audience is invited to stay after Sunday’s performance to meet the cast and discover how they made this classic story come to life. Register for the Meet the Cast showing at abingtonculturalarts@psu.edu, go to abington.psu.edu/ca or call 215-881-7800.
