Curry earns Academic All-EIVA Team

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Men's volleyball redshirt-freshman Connor Curry (Newport Beach, Calif.) earned a spot on the Academic All-EIVA Team. Curry was one of 10 men's volleyball student-athletes across the EIVA to be honored.

To be eligible for Academic All-EIVA honors, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher and have participating in at least 60 percent of the matches player by their team.

This is Curry's first career Academic All-EIVA award. Curry has been the starting libero in all 26 matches this season and was honored as a First Team All-EIVA selection. He leads the team in digs with 196. A four-time EIVA Defensive Player of the Week, his 2.13 digs per set is a team-best and ranks fifth in the EIVA.
