Students enrolled in a Penn State Continuing Education class, along with emergency responders from the State College area, participated recently in a mock bus crash. Students had the opportunity to benefit from a hands-on learning experience while local emergency responders had a chance to practice for a disaster scenario.
The instructor said the course teaches students something they can't learn in the classroom.
