Campus offers summer youth writing, visual arts, and engineering camps

CENTER VALLEY, Pa.-- Penn State Lehigh Valley is offering two-week, half-day youth camps July 9-20 and July 23-Aug. 3. Camps are available in writing, visual arts and engineering and are geared toward a particular grade level from kindergarten through grade 12. Camps are offered in the morning (9 a.m.-noon) or the afternoon (1-4 p.m.).

Engineering camps include robotics and rocketeering. Visual art camps include drawing, clay, photography, and digital film and animation. Writing camps explore a variety of topics including poetry, comic strips, and publishing a portfolio. Each camp is designed and taught by Penn State Lehigh Valley faculty and/or Lehigh Valley Writing Project Fellows.
