Annual Melanoma Mini-Symposium set for May 21

The 11th annual Melanoma Mini-Symposium will be held noon to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 21, in the Junker Auditorium at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This year’s theme is Natural and Synthetic Nanoparticle for Treating and Imaging Melanoma.

Two keynote presentations will be featured. Joshua L. Hood will present “Exosomes and Melanoma.” Hood is from Washington University, St. Louis. Michelle Bradbury will present “First-in-Human Trials Using Next Generation Nanodiagnostic Tools: Image-Guided Targeting of Melanoma Using Multimodal C dots.” Bradbury is from Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
