The Farmers Market in Hershey and Summer Concert Series began its ninth season May 17.

Located on the grounds of the Cocoa Beanery off Bullfrog Valley Road, the Farmers Market is open every Thursday through Oct. 25. It features 18 vendors offering a wide variety of fresh, local produce, free-range poultry, grass-fed meats and wild-caught salmon. Local breads, cheeses and baked goods are also available.

Children are invited to participate in the Cubs Caring for Our Community program from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Thursday. Activities include the “Totally Veggies” program, “Ask the Farmer” game and hands-on cooking lessons from hospital chefs at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Local musicians will entertain with free summer concerts from 6 to 8 p.m. each week at the Farmers Market.
