The Hershey Half Marathon is Oct. 21

With more than 2,000 runners already signed up, registration for the third annual Hershey Half Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 21, is on a record pace this year. This event has sold out quickly in the past so interested runners should register soon. This 13.1-mile race through Hershey is popular for its unique race route through many iconic Hershey landmarks including Hersheypark, its unique chocolate aid station to fuel runners to a sweet finish, and for the fact that all net proceeds benefit Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.

Cash prizes are awarded, and all participants receive two complimentary admission tickets to Hersheypark in the Dark.

The single entry race fee is $75, and the two-person relay team is $120 through Aug. 1. From Aug. 2 through Oct. 13 the single entry race fee is $85 and $140 for a two-person relay.

The entry fee includes a personalized bib (when registered by Sept. 1), a Jaguar timing device, a commemorative shirt, finisher’s medal, two tickets to Hersheypark in the Dark and an opportunity to enter kids in Saturday’s Fun Run ($12 each)

The Hershey Half Marathon is open to everyone age 14 or older. All net proceeds benefit Children's Miracle Network. For more information, go to www.hersheyhalfmarathon.com online.
