Fall Career Days provide opportunities for students of all majors

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State’s annual Fall Career Days will be held Sept. 11-13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park. Recruiters will be looking for students to fill full-time positions, as well as internships and co-ops.
 
Tuesday, Sept. 11, will be for non-technical, full-time opportunities. Wednesday, Sept. 12, will be for internships and co-ops. Thursday, Sept. 12, will be for technical, full-time opportunities.
 
Fall Career Days are the first opportunity this academic year to explore career opportunities, network and begin the job search. Meeting employers face-to-face is an important part of the process. Nearly 500 employers will be present at the fair, an increase of 9 percent over last year.
 
A series of workshops also will be offered Sept. 4-6, focusing on resume and interview preparation, as well as what to expect during Fall Career Days. All workshops will be held 103 Bank of America Career Services Center. 
 
Fall Career Days is open to all students, regardless of major or semester standing. Students who are not currently seeking employment opportunities may participate in the event as a volunteer.
