Police investigating suspicious package; portion of Porter Road closed

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State University Police and the University's Hazardous Materials Response Team are investigating a suspicious package at Beaver Stadium on the University Park campus. As a precaution, police have closed Porter Road, from Curtin Road to Park Avenue. Pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic should avoid the area while authorities investigate.
