Beaver County College Fair will be held Oct. 4

The 11th annual Beaver County College Fair will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, in the Penn State Beaver gymnasium. The event is free and open to the public and cosponsored by Beaver campus and the Beaver County Times. No registration is required.

Representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities, technical schools and the military will be present to answer questions and provide information on academic programs and careers. The event is recognized as the premier college fair serving Beaver county students.

In addition, representatives from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be available to answer questions about financial aid. Representatives from the Educational Opportunity Centers and the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit's Regional Choice Initiative Program also will be available.

Students of all ages are encouraged to attend, especially junior and senior high school students and adults planning to complete or obtain a degree.

Free parking is available, and visitors will be guided as they come on campus.
