UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State University Staff Advisory Council is holding the next installment of its Brown Bag Networking Luncheon Series from noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 22 on the University Park campus (specific location to be determined). The goal is to give staff an opportunity to network with each other and to discuss topics of common interest.
The Oct. 22 luncheon will focus on the resources that are available to staff in the surrounding community. Topics could range from the best place to enjoy the outdoors, to the community's best cupcake seller, to specific interest groups that exist at University Park. This luncheon gives staff an opportunity to communicate and share information about the great aspects of life on campus and in surrounding communities. These luncheons may be especially informative for people who are new to University Park, but all should be able to learn something new.
Space is limited to the first 40 participants and attendees will receive a free T-shirt. Light desserts and refreshments will be provided.
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. on Oct. 15. The location of the luncheon will be included in the response to the RSVP.
