Research programs offered for undergrads

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Women In Science and Engineering Research, and Minority Undergraduate Research Experience programs. These undergraduate scholarship programs offer Penn State students the opportunity to work in a research lab with a faculty or graduate student adviser at University Park for two semesters, beginning their freshman year. The application deadline is Nov. 1.

Science and engineering laboratories in the colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Earth and Mineral Sciences, Engineering, Health and Human Development, Information Sciences and Technology, Liberal Arts and Eberly College of Science are accepting applicants to join in their laboratory research efforts. Division of Undergraduate students with undeclared majors are welcome to apply.
