BrickStreet Mutual CEO to speak as part of Fayette series

Gregory A. Burton, president and CEO of BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Co., continues the fall CEO Conversations series from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 17, at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. This free event is open to the public and will be held in the Community Center’s Bird’s Nest Café.

BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Co. is West Virginia’s first private worker’s compensation carrier and is among the largest writers of worker’s compensation coverage in the nation.

Burton received a bachelor of science in marketing and management finance from the University of Charleston and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. He currently oversees policy direction, leadership, strategic plan implementation and budget development for BrickStreet. Previously, he served as city manager of Charleston; chairman and former board member of the West Virginia Healthcare Authority; assistant vice president of investment banking with Ferris, Baker, Watts; vice president and head of corporate trust with Bank One; and assistant vice president of Bank of West Virginia.

CEO Conversations is designed to give students the opportunity to hear from and talk with key individuals in the local, regional and national business communities about business, entrepreneurship and leadership. The 2012 guest speaker series is being sponsored by Joseph A. Hardy III.
