UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Lauren Kooistra and Andrew Porter, graduate consultants with the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence, will lead GA 103: Learning-Focused Assessment & Evaluation from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 31, in Room 315, Rider Building.
The interactive workshop will focus on time-effective student assessment. Time will be spent on learning how to develop pre-assessments, design rubrics, collect and use mid-semester feedback, use engaging classroom assessment techniques and write effective exam questions. The workshop is part of a three-seminar series focusing on best practices for integrated teaching and learning.
