Freshmen, University leaders discuss early student experience

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- About 75 randomly selected members of Penn State's freshman class discussed the first weeks of their Penn State experience with 27 University leaders during a luncheon held Wednesday, Oct. 24. The event, part of ongoing efforts to promote conversation among students and administrators, was held in the Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus.

Participants touched on a wide variety of topics, including orientation and acclimation to life on campus; study habits and on-campus social offerings; and life in on-campus residence halls and participation in student organizations, among others.
