Beaver students make volleyball all-conference team

Two sophomore liberal arts majors at Penn State Beaver were named to the 2012 Penn State University Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Conference Team.

Natalie Gamble, of McKees Rocks, Pa., was named Second Team All-Conference. For the season, she had 135 kills, 19 service aces and a conference-leading 64 blocks, 48 of which were solo. She also had 99 digs.

Kayona Ward, of Beaver Falls, Pa., was named All-Conference Honorable Mention. This season she had 79 kills as well as a 39 blocks, 35 of which were solo.
