Blood Donor Challenge continues

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State vs Michigan State Blood Donor Challenge continues this week with the following blood drives:

-- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, N201 Millennium Science Complex
-- 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, Waring Commons, West Halls 
-- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, Mezzanine, main gym, Recreation Building
-- 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, Warnock Commons, North Halls

For donors not associated with the University, parking is available in the HUB, Nittany or East parking decks for $1 per hour. Donors will receive pizza at every blood drive and all presenting donors will receive a Challenge T-shirt. All donors should eat well and stay well hydrated before donating. A form of ID is also required. A PSU ID, driver’s license or Red Cross donor card are the preferred methods. Appointments for any blood drive on campus are strongly recommended and can be made by visiting www.psuredcross.org. Donors with appointments are given priority status at the drives.

In the first week of the 19th year of the competition, Michigan State has collected 735 units and Penn State has collected 311.
