Philanthropy Day at Abington planned to boost Career Closet

The Penn State Abington student chapter of Entrepreneurial Action Us (Enactus) is partnering with the Abington Office of Development and Alumni Relations for the campus’ first Philanthropy Day. The goal is to fill the Career Closet at Abington with interview-appropriate attire for students.

The group is reaching out to alumni, faculty, staff and the community to donate clean and gently worn articles of clothing including jackets, blazers, dress pants, dress shirts, dress blouses, skirts, ties and tie clips.

The Encactus/Career Closet Suit Drive will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Dean’s Dining Room in the Lares Building. For more information on the Abington Enactus Career Closet, contact Ryan Douglas at rvd5174@psu.edu or Jonathan Silver at jds5621@psu.edu.

Enactus, formerly known as Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a worldwide community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world. For more information, go to http://enactus.org/.
