Great Valley benefit helps raise $4,000 for Penn State charities

The annual Penn State Great Valley Tailgate Benefit raised more than $4,000 for the school’s Alumni Achievement Scholarship Fund, the Penn State Hershey Center for Protection of Children and The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. This marked the largest donation raised by the annual event thanks to the hard work of the school’s Alumni Society members and the support of more than 175 attendees including advisory board members, alumni and their families, students, faculty and staff. Tailgate committee members Rich Boclair (’01 MBA) and Kathy Hume (’96 MHA) couldn’t be happier: “This year's event was our biggest and most successful to date, and we cannot thank everyone enough for their fantastic support.” View event photos and read the full story at http://www.sgps.psu.edu/tailgate2012/default.ashx.
