CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Penn State Lehigh Valley students, faculty and staff are invited to a lecture about author J.R.R. Tolkien, followed by a private screening of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 17. The lecture/presentation by English adjunct Sørina Higgins will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Room 302 at the campus in Center Valley. The movie begins at 7 p.m. at Rave Cinemas at The Promenade Shops. Tickets are for sale at a reduced group-rate of $9.50 each, but the price may be less if more than 100 people sign up. For more information, email Higgins at srh22@psu.edu.
