'Did They Get it Right?' looks at hoarding shows

Many of us will end the holiday season with a plethora of gifts that we won't necessarily cherish: the reindeer sweater or the automatic potato peeler. While these items will find their way into the attic or be re-gifted at the next possible birthday, there are about 3 million people in the U.S. alone who can't let go of items such as these. It's known as compulsive hoarding and it's become a part of the reality-television landscape, but are the "cold turkey" methods that the on-camera therapist utilizes, the best way to help individuals? Brian Rabian, director of the psychological clinic at Penn State, weighs in on the subject.
