Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center recently welcomed Father Tukura Pius Michael to the pastoral services team. Tukura was born in Nigeria and has eight brothers and sisters. His family, including his mother, continues to live in Nigeria. He has been a priest for 10 years and has been in the United States for three years as a member of the Dominican Order of the Province of Nigeria.
Prior to coming to the Medical Center, he worked as a chaplain at Washington Hospital Center as well as Children’s National Medical Center and National Rehabilitation Hospital, all in Washington, D.C.
