MLK week begins Jan. 21 on campus

Penn State Altoona's Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity is offering a week of events and activities in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr., beginning Jan. 21.

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Reflection Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Adler Gymnasium. Barbara Farmer will be the keynote speaker. Space is limited, so register at https://orgsync.com/22053/forms/63430. At 4 p.m., in the Slep Student Center, students will share excerpts from essays and video projects created in honor of King.

The rest of the week includes an interfaith prayer service, a theatrical production, a day of service and a breakfast forum. Details can be found at http://www.altoona.psu.edu/oied/mlk.php?v=2.
