First Friday Series puts spotlight on studying abroad

Ever thought about studying abroad? Penn State York’s global programs will offer a presentation Jan. 11 by Penn State students who have spent semesters and summers in other countries. The program is at noon, in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center.

Students will share the steps to take for those interested in traveling the world as part of a Penn State education. The program is part of the campus’ First Friday Series and is free and open to the public.

The goal of the First Friday Series is to introduce people to a variety of cultures and diversity issues. The series is sponsored by the Penn State York Diversity Committee. Please bring your lunch. Drinks and light snacks will be available. Visit http://yk.psu.edu/Academics/InternationalPrograms/31160.htm to learn more about programs at Penn State York.
