Jan. 18 deadline for 2013 Global Engagement and Leadership Experience

In it's fifth semester, the Global Engagement and Leadership Experience (GELE) is bringing together international and U.S. students to positively impact campus climate and society by inspiring Penn State Students -- future leaders -- to transform themselves into globally engaged and responsible citizens.

Penn Staters can join in on the experience for a two and half day (off-campus) mini-conference on global culture and leadership. Penn State students from around the world engage in courageous conversations and workshops on culture, globalization, and leadership around the world. GELE participants will engage in a service project and the opportunity to be involved in an international showcase.

Get program details, descriptions, who participates and ask past participant questions on the Global Engagement and Leadership Facebook page. Follow the link to www.global.psu.edu/gele to apply for the Spring GELE by the priority deadline on Jan. 18. Contact Kristin Thomas, the University Office of Global Programs for more information. Space is limited, undergraduates and graduates are welcome to apply.
