2013 Materials Visualization Competition

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Department of Materials Science and Engineering and the Materials Research Institute at Penn State have announced the Materials Visualization Competition for 2013 (MVC13), a scientific visual and artistic competition created to celebrate the quality of research in materials at Penn State.

The competition is open to all faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and researchers of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Materials Research Institute, the Materials Research Laboratory and any Penn State departments or areas working or collaborating on materials topics.
 
Last year, the competition continued to be very successful with over 40 stunning images submitted by faculty, students and researchers. This year, image submissions are due by Thursday, March 7.
