Two Beaver students to dance in February's THON

Two Penn State Beaver students will dance in the University’s annual dance marathon, THON, from Feb. 15 to 17, at the Bryce Jordan Center, Penn State University Park.

Dancers are Nicole Nuske, a freshman education major from Ambridge, and Danielle Roethlein, a junior engineering major from Georgetown studying at University Park this semester. In addition, other campus students will accompany the women to provide support and boost morale.

THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, engages in fundraising efforts yearlong to raise money to combat pediatric cancer and provide support for patients’ families.

Since 1977, THON has raised more than $89 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
