University Police investigating a reported sexual assault

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- University Police are investigating an indecent assault constituting a forcible sexual assault, reported to have occurred around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, on the sidewalk located between Shortlidge Road and the east side entrance to the HUB Parking Deck. The victim, a student, said a male grabbed her person without consent. The suspect is unknown her and is described as a white male in his mid-20's, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 pounds, with a shaved/bald head and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Penn State University Police at 814-863-1111 or Centre County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-99-CRIME. Callers may remain anonymous or may visit the Penn State University Police Silent Witness website at http://www.police.psu.edu/witness/. Those providing information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 from Centre County Crime Stoppers.
