Penn State Laureate Chris Staley: God and Art; Hands

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Ceramicist Chris Staley, the 2012-13 Penn State Laureate and distinguished professor of art at the University, is discussing topics related to creativity and the intersection between art and life in a series of videos to be shared during the 2012-13 academic year, aiming to expand people's ideas on art and serve as a catalyst for further conversation.

Locations will range from Staley's studio to horse stables to a football field, and the videos will include interviews with Penn State sports coaches and other distinguished members of the University community. The three- to four-minute videos, co-produced by College of Arts and Architecture staff member Cody Goddard, will appear weekly during the 2012-13 academic year on Penn State Live and in Penn State Newswires.
