Jason Bennett, rear, received nearly $250,000 in NSF funding for research that may eventually lead to a noninvasive method for measuring the body's level of hydrogen sulfide. Behrend alumnus James E. Pander III, '12, foreground, a former undergraduate researcher in Bennett's lab, is pursuing his doctoral degree in chemistry at Princeton University.
