Wildlife at Penn State 14

Heather Summerlin discovered this baby rabbit, only one week old, on the lawn outside Sparks Building on Penn State's University Park campus, on Aug. 15, 2008. Summerlin suspects he most likely was dropped by a predator -- maybe the famous red-tailed hawk --after being taken from his nest. He is now living in a rabbit nursery at Centre Wildlife Care, is doing well, and will be re-released into the wild when he is old enough.
