Wildlife at Penn State 5

Gail Hossler submitted this photo of a bluebird at the Penn State Harrisburg campus. Hossler reports that the bluebird population has been expanding at the campus over the last few years thanks to alumnus Andrew Ohrman who revived the campus' bluebird trail by repairing old boxes, putting up more and giving lectures on campus and in neighboring communities. He and his wife Cindy monitor the boxes regularly. Almost every box across the campus this year was occupied and has fledged either bluebirds, tree swallows, chickadees or wrens.
