Sarah Palin Visit 1
Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin brought her Road to Victory Rally to Penn State University Park Tuesday evening (Oct. 28). Those interested in hearing her speak lined up early. The line from Rec Hall, site of the speech, stretched up Atherton Street, across the IST bridge and back down Atherton Street, ending near the intersection with College Avenue.

Congressional 5th District candidate Glenn Thompson also spoke at the Road to Victory Rally. He talked about the need for tax reductions and national energy policies, the importance of family and how happy he was to see families who brought their children to the event.

After the introductory speakers, singer Hank Williams Jr. burst onto the stage and fired up the capacity crowd at Rec Hall.
