This year's basketball camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 6, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7. The camp draws on participants from second through eighth grades and is located in the south gym of the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus.
As part of the conditioning for basketball, jumping rope looks easy but is actually hard work.
Rotating from position to position, each basket presents a different challenge.
Bouncing the ball against the wall makes for quicker reflexes while "dot" skipping builds agility.
You don't have to be tall person to enjoy the game, just have determination.
