Students lined up for THON merchandise Feb. 6 in the HUB-Robeson Center at Penn State's University Park campus. With the IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon fast approaching on Feb. 15, students stocked up on apparel, with the most popular items of the one-day sale being tank tops and crewneck sweatshirts. Merchandise is available online at store.thon.psu.edu and will also be sold during the 46-hour dance marathon. Proceeds benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. Penn State sophomore Kevin Dastalfo, left, and junior Josh Lashbrook kicked off the Stand for Freedom on Jan. 31 at the Allen Street Gate at University Park to call attention to the 27 million men, women and children living in slavery throughout the world. The event, which will last for 27 hours, is organized by the campus' chapter of the International Justice Mission, a human rights organization that aids victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression.
